Orphée Lutula Okito is a montreal-based photographer, director, producer, sound engineer and an educator. Born in Brussels, Belgium, he spent his early years in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he was classically trained in music for fifteen years. After obtaining a degree in pedagogy, he flew to Montreal, Canada, where he enrolled in sound engineering studies, all the while making his debuts in the music industry as a performer.
Orphée began expressing himself through photography in 2011, after receiving his first camera. Despite his already impressive resume, he never stopped to aim higher and graduated in Commercial Photography from one of the best photography schools in Canada, Dawson College.
His multifaceted personality and creative mindset allows him to devoutly share his vision with students through masterclasses. Sensitive and selfless, Orphée is known for his human-centered approach to photography. He uses sleek and architectural lines to make an impactful artistic statement.
